Summer is over and it's back to school time! Yay! The week before we went to a Corn Roast held at the school to welcome students and teachers back. It was a great opportunity to meet the teachers and get the kids excited about going back to school. Especially for Olivia who is starting her French CASA program. Turning 3 will have lots of benefits this year - swimming, gymnastics, martial arts, and field trips. We are very excited for her.
This year will be Williams' first time in daycare. Fortunately we are lucky to have Olivia's previous teacher. She is great! William is going to have a blast in the toddler class (as long as he behaves :0)). William looks ready, but he has no idea. hahahhaha
Because we are early in the morning, they are the one of the first kids to arrive. This was great because it gave them a chance to settle without any commotions from other kids. They both gathered into the toddler room, where Olivia and William began to explore. Olivia quickly got into a routine or a familiar excercise. William on the other hand, had to explore and touch everything in this room.
Once we got all their stuff settled, we said our goodbyes. Yes, there were tears, but we knew it would only last a few minutes when we left. Sigh..back to routines. Papa and I went to Starbucks to celebrate the first day of school! Hope this will be a great year of growth, fun, and play. We know they are in good hands.
